Tongyan Lin

Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics at UCSD. I work on theoretical particle physics, particle astrophysics, and cosmology, and I am part of the High Energy Theory group at UCSD.

Prior to joining UCSD, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and UC Berkeley, and a KICP fellow at the University of Chicago. I received my PhD in Physics from Harvard University and undergraduate degree from MIT.

Update Fall 2020: If you’re interested in joining UCSD as a postdoc, please see the N3AS postdoctoral fellow listing on AJO, as well as this listing for research in astroparticle physics, dark matter, and particle physics phenomenology.
